About Providence Place:

Providence Place provides an environment for adults who have a history of problems with substance abuse and choose recovery as their main priority.  Our program is proactive, providing guidance and support.  Our point of focus is the "Big Book of Alcoholics Anonymous", as well as its 12 Steps and 12 Traditions.

We use tools to help our guests restore dignity, personal responsibility and self esteem such as active participation in the 12-step programs, weekly classes in a program entitled MRT (moral reconnation therapy) designed to teach character building and life skills.  Our guests attend daily 12-step meetings, we encourage and monitor sponsor and step work, and require attendance at 10th step meeting's held in each home - it gives everyone the opportunity to reflect on the choices and behavior of the day in an effort to become more aware of the progress and areas guests need to work on amongst their peers.  All Guests must sign and agree to adhere to the rules and guidelines of Providence Place.

Willingness to change, commitment to the 12-step way of life, seeking and maintaining full-time employment, and other life lessons...ALL come together to help our guests become productive members of society and rebuild their lives.

Providence Place offers several beautiful homes centrally located and within walking distance to 12-step meetings, groceries, shopping, employment, hotels, restaurants, churches and more!
